The Southafrican Nobel Laureate Desmond Tutu has defined George Clooney and Don Cheadle, the two Hollywood stars who will be awarded with the “Peace Summit Award 2007” on 13th December, as “an example for all of us [...] I am always moved when artists like George and Don use their popularity to speak up for the more vulnerable human beings. They have let the suffering in Darfour into million of people’s consciences and have collected million of dollars to help the victims of violence. They are an inspiration to all of us and are showing everybody that no matter what path we take in life, we can all contribute to make the world a better place”.
