About: The Climate Change Task Force (CCTF) is an independent, non-governmental panel comprised of leading international climate change thinkers, scientists as well as former and current statesmen and officials working to maximize Copenhagen climate deal, “recalibrate” post Copenhagen efforts in line with latest science and actively engage civil society in the search for appropriate and adequate solutions . Under the leadership of GCI Founding President Mikhail Gorbachev, the CCTF consolidates the efforts of organizations like the Nobel Peace Laureates Forum, the Club of Madrid and the Club of Rome in bringing about urgent and radical climate action.

The Oceans are being devastated by the impact of human activity and climate change yet they are barely mentioned in the climate negotiations. Join ocean explorer Jean-Michel Cousteau, the head of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Michel Jarraud,
US presidential Climate Action project director Bill Becker and Energy Specialist Ian Dunlop for a discussion on Climate Change and the Oceans. Expedition leader and Green Cross France board member Luc Hardy give his account of melting Himalayan glaciers following his last trip to Nepal and Tibet.
